arielOṁ

arielOṁ was born Ariel Pedroso in Habana, Cuba. Since early in his childhood Ariel studied classical music at prestigious colleges in which he was taught Musical Appreciation, Voice and Choir, Music Theory and Piano. With world-class private music tuition levels he had the opportunity to learn with highly-esteemed music teachers. On leaving college he was asked by his father to join his band. He did so for a short time, but found it too restrictive musically, and thus he began a long journey that would take him through Asia and into India. There he could learn the music and sounds from the other side of the world and, faithful to his own heart, embarked in a quest of mixing and blending all those experiences and sounds with those of his childhood, classical music, latin and jazz.

Working with different musicians all around the world during these years, Ariel could then grow musically and ready himself for sharing with the world that gave him so much his own personal take on what music and sound is for him now.

Influences include: Pat Metheny, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone and John Williams.
